As a dental hygienist Stacy works together with colleagues and dentists to provide valuable oral health needs to patients. Stacy began as a dental hygienist in 1993. She received her dental hygiene education in the Bay Area at Foothill College. She worked in the Bay Area until her husband’s job relocated the couple to Roseville in 2005. While working for David Marshall DMD in Milpitas Stacy received “The Best Dental Hygienist in Milpitas” award twice. For Stacy those awards confirmed she had chosen the right career.
BACKGROUND:
Stacy has worked at Yamamoto and Lee for 8 years. Prior to that she worked in two other offices, one in San Jose for 2 1/2 years and another in Milpitas for 9 1/2 years. She also worked as a temporary dental hygienist for various offices when they needed coverage.
PERSONAL INTERESTS:
Stacy has been married since December 1994, and she and her husband have two children, Nick and Kaitlyn. She also has a Maltipoo named Milou. Stacy is orginally from Milpitas, CA and lived in Fremont/Newark during her early adult years. Stacy and her family moved to Roseville in 2005 due to Stacy’s husband’s job relocation. As a family they love to camp and travel! Stacy’s personal hobbies are sewing and quilting. About those, Stacy says, “I tell everyone it is my “therapy!”
WHY I LOVE MY WORK:
“I work with an awesome staff! They are awesome because we all have a common goal and that is to take care of people and each other. Katie
Registered Dental Hygienist
JOINED: 2007, hygienist since 2010
As a dental hygienist, Katie promotes, educates and helps to maintain good oral health. Regular procedures include dental cleanings, scaling and root planing for patients with periodontal disease, X-rays, sealants and instructing oral hygiene care.
Katie first became a dental assistant in 2003 when she graduated from Sacramento City College. After graduation, she moved to San Diego and worked for a few years at two offices in Poway and La Jolla, CA. In 2006, Katie moved back home to Sacramento and found her “dream office” at Yamamoto and Lee in 2007. She then returned to school in 2008 to pursue her dream of becoming a dental hygienist.
After graduating in 2010, she, as she says, “was fortunate enough to be able to return to my dental home at Yamamoto and Lee.”

PERSONAL INTERESTS:
“I am a married mother of a two and a half-year-old son, which means when I am not doing dishes, I am changing diapers. I love being a mom and I am so blessed that I am able to work three days a week, so I can enjoy these short, wondrous years.”
WHY I LOVE MY WORK:
“I love developing relationships with patients and look forward to their return visits. I enjoy following their lives and hearing about accomplishments, jobs, family and vacations. I thrive on their happiness. I feel privileged to be in a profession that I truly enjoy.”

Rebecca Mudd
Registered Dental Hygienist
As a dental hygienist, Rebecca educates patients about how to effectively care for their teeth and gums, and the effects of diet on oral health.
